Hi I'm Melissa Turley

I'm a wife, mom, university student, athlete, musician, and daughter of God. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in the beautiful city of Boise, Idaho. My husband and I met at one of the Church universities, and were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Twin Falls Idaho temple. I am a fun-loving, adventurous girl, who is blessed to be married to an equally as fun-loving and adventurous guy. We both have a great love for sports and music, and most especially our little boy (who is the happiest, sweetest little person in the whole wide world). I am a stay-at-home mom, currently finishing my degree online with a Church university. My hobbies include cello, piano, guitar, singing, dancing, volleyball, tennis, hiking, laundry, cooking, cleaning, changing diapers, playing with my adorable baby, and watching college football and basketball with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, but I have developed a strong personal testimony and remained an active member by choice. Through the many trials and mercies, failures and successes, struggles and miracles, blessings, and things withheld from me, the Lord has led me every step of the way and helped me to find true happiness. I know this gospel to be absolute truth, and that my Heavenly Father has a perfect plan for me, as well as for those I love. He knows me even better than I know myself. He knows my weaknesses and my strengths, and He will never give me more than I can bear and overcome. I love my Savior, who suffered for my sins so that I can always repent, and live with Him again. I believe that my family is forever. Through sacred temple ordinances I have been sealed to my little family for time and all eternity, and I believe that is the way God intends for families to be established. I sustain and support all the leaders of our Church, especially our living Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the Church as a teacher to 7/8 year-old children. They're a feisty little bunch, but I thoroughly enjoy teaching them the basics of the gospel and watching them learn and grow and get baptized. I also fully support and sustain my husband in his calling.
