Hi I'm Camille

I'm a single, high school teacher, coach, cyclist, dancer, sports fan, musical theatre loving Mormon.

About Me

I am girl of many interests. I love spending time with those I love and making memories. I also love, musical theatre, dancing, music, movies, art, literature, sports, film editing, and history. I never feel that there is enough time in life to do all the things I am passionate about.

Why I am a Mormon

I think at the base of it all the reason I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is because I've seen the results in my short life of living the teachings of Christ taught in this church. I have seen the hand of the Lord in my life and I marvel at the things I've learned and the opportunities I've had in life. I stand firm in saying that he is the head of this Church. I have recieved a confrimation through the Holy Ghost that what I am doing is right. I cannot imagine who I would be or what my life would be like if I didn't have the Church apart of it.

How I live my faith

I attend a young single adult ward each week. Where for this time in my life is just perfect. I currently serve the women of the congregation and love the opportunity I have to get to know so many different women and their strengths. It's also a blessing to get to know them on a personal level and share in the trials they face. I am strengthened by their examples. But more than being involved each week with the Church, I've found that even more important is how I live my faith on my own. Those things that I do each day to keep the Lord close to me and show him that he is the center of my life. Those are the things that others don't see and I know those are the things that really help me to continue to live my faith daily without waiver.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Camille
Yes! With all my heart. Amos 37 states "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." A prophet is a man chosen by God and given athority from God to do his work here on the earth. We are told God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I know this is true and that as he provided prophets in the past to guide his children on earth as he cannot physically do, he has done that again today for us. I know there is a living prophet today.  Show more Show less
