Hi I'm Conner

I'm a college graduate, marathoner, triathlete, vegetarian, I love to cook, travel, learn, and read. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college graduate with a BS in Sociology. I make it my personal duty to meet people, although sometimes I play the shy card. I've been a runner since high school, picked up swimming in college, and have participated in a couple of triathlons and a marathon. I took piano lessons for 11 years, and I still enjoy playing, but rarely make the time for it. I count my true passions as something that will get me out of bed before 6 am which are my religion, working out, and traveling. I am a software consultant and my career requires/allows me to travel a lot which is exhausting but very rewarding. I served a mission in Hungary and have returned because of my love for the people and culture.

Why I am a Mormon

I am the middle child of 7 children and in my teen years I had a bad attitude towards life. While in high school I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the year. As I had not previously completed the entire book I thought that would be a good reason to finish. In my process of consistently reading I often prayed and expected some miraculous answer. It wasn't until I finished the Book of Mormon that I reflected and realized the complete change in attitude that I'd had towards life and my family. I realized that the Book of Mormon caused a miracle in my life in the way of happiness. I had become happy and I realized it had come through my obedience to reading the Book of Mormon. I know that the book is true. I have lived a happy life in the gospel of Jesus Christ and know that through him I can accomplish great things in my life. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who guides my life in a way that blesses me.

How I live my faith

My faith plays a part in my every day life. Every morning when I wake up, every night before I go to bed, and any other time during the day I feel the need, I pray. Whenever I travel I make it a point to wear BYU paraphernalia so that it can be a conversation starter. Every day of my life I work on improving myself and looking for ways to serve others. I am very happy with my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints.
