Hi I'm Jeanette

I grew up in Southern California. I'm a military wife and mother of two. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married to my husband for over 11 years and we have two wonderful children. Growing up, I lived in the same city, but since I've been married we have moved 14 times. I enjoy the opportunity to experience new places and things that come our way because of my husband's career in the Army. Having to spend a lot of time apart, we always try to have quality family time when we are together.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I feel very grateful for the loving home my parents provided for me. I gained my testimony of the this gospel while I was young. I still remember praying to know if the things I was taught at church and by my parents were true. My answer came clear as day that it was true. That knowledge has brought me much comfort and peace many times in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a Christ-like person in all aspects of my life. At work, at home, and out in the community-not just at church. It's not always easy, but it's what I strive to do. I have the opportunity to serve the youth of our church by planning weekly activities and teaching them gospel lessons on Sunday. I love watching their faith grow as they learn.
