Hi I'm Kristi.
I'm a college student. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.
I grew up in Chicago and moved across the country before high school. I now attend college and love to go to sporting events (especially basketball and baseball). I love learning, but I'm also excited for summer break. I am excited to have my own family one day and to watch us struggle and grow together. I love people - it's what made me decide to be a student of psychology. Helping others is one of the largest parts of my life. I find so much joy in being able to aid others with their problems and help them overcome what pulls them down.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because the beliefs and standards that I have been taught line up with everything that I believe to be right. The feeling that I get when I am following my Savior, Jesus Christ, is unlike any other feeling. I have an idea of where I would be if I was not in this church and it is scary to realize the direction my life could have taken. I am a Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because Jesus Christ is the light of my life.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by believing in Jesus Christ and trying to live in a way that he would want me to live. I focus a lot of my efforts on helping other people and alleviating the burdens of others around me. I try to model Christ's charity in my day-to-day life. I am a student in psychology and find joy in finding principles that apply to both the science of therapy and helping people become better.
