Hi I'm Josh

I'm a college student. I love football. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

During High School my entire life revolved around sports and music. I played football and baseball on my school teams. Performing in Musicals and other music events are also some of my favorite memories. In college I've started my undergraduate in Anatomy and Physiology. I'm currently serving as a missionary in Canada and loving every moment of it!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a part of this church has done more for me than anything else ever could have. I have gained important answers to life and so much happiness from what I have learned. The Book of Mormon and the Bible have brought me a greater understanding of God and my relationship to Him. One of my greatest memories is the day I was baptized. I have never felt God's love so strongly as I did after I was baptized. The feeling came so suddenly and so strongly! I know that the feeling I had that day was God's love for me and it was Him telling me that I made the right choice to be baptized into His church. His church is on the Earth again and nothing else can offer the level of happiness that comes from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! It is His church.

How I live my faith

I have five little brothers. As the oldest, I hope to be the best example I can. One of my favorite songs that I sang as a child was "I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus." In everything I do I hope to become more loving, more humble, more patient, and more productive- always looking for opportunities to uplift others. For the next two years I am serving as a missionary in British Columbia, Canada. As a missionary I help others out in any way I can- even if that means mowing lawns and weeding gardens in dress clothes. I also teach others about the Gospel. Bringing other people the same happiness that I have gained through church has made these two years the best of my entire life. There really is nothing better!

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Josh
I chose to serve as a missionary because I want to share what I treasure about the Church with other people. I know my life has changed for the better because of our message, and I've never been happier than I am now. Part of our belief is that when we have found a recipe for our joy, we don't want to hide it and keep it to ourselves. I want you to get in on it yourself! If you see Mormon missionaries in your area, go up and talk to them! Like me, they probably have traveled far to be there and given up being with family and friends for two years. And why? Because talking to you about the gospel and Christ is worth every bit.   Show more Show less
