Hi I'm Nathan

I enjoy the outdoors and athletic activities. I am a man who loves his family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like things to run efficiently and I work as an operations manager to support my family. I have a young family and spend most of my free moments with them. Whenever possible, I enjoy backpacking, camping, cycling, swimming, playing ultimate frisbee and soccer. I've volunteered as a scout master and soccer coach to combine some of my interests with my children. I also enjoy reading, watching movies and playing games.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon faith and never had reason to doubt its truthfulness. When I was around 12 or 13, however, I determined to know for myself if what was being taught was correct. I read from the Book of Mormon, prayed and received a confirming witness that what I had been taught was correct. Since that time, I have had numerous times when the Holy Spirit has confirmed to me that the path I have chosen to follow is correct. I know that God lives, that he loves me and all of His children. I know that Christ is my savior and that through His sacrifice I can be forgiven of my sins and supported in my trials. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. Like the Bible, it teaches us about Jesus Christ and how we can follow Him. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and played an important role in restoring Christ's Church to the earth. Being a member of Christ's Church brings purpose, hope and meaning into my life. I feel very blessed to have faith in Christ and some understanding of God's plan for me and my family.

How I live my faith

I try to follow Christ's example to serve and love other people. I read from the scriptures to learn more about Him and pray everyday with my family, with my wife and by myself. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints provides me with opportunities to learn from others, and put my faith in action as I serve and help others.
