Hi I'm Cami

I'm a student. I love teaching. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student studying communication disorders in hopes of obtaining a masters degree in Speech Pathology. I decided to do that because I love helping, encouraging, teaching, and being around people. I love spending time with my family and with friends. I love exploring and learning new things. I lived in Hungary for a year and a half, learned their language and I now teach it to others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. My parents taught me a lot about faith. I remember my dad teaching me that if I need something I can turn to God and He will help me. My first experience with prayer was when our area was in a massive drought. As a young three year old girl I prayed nightly for Heavenly Father to send rain to us. One day my dad carried me to the window and showed me that my prayer had been answered.  From then on I knew where I could turn for peace and for help. The thing I love most about being Mormon is that I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and listens to me. I have a personal relationship with him. Having this knowledge means the world to me.

How I live my faith

I teach a marriage and family relations class in Sunday School to young couples who are preparing to get married. I love helping people catch the vision of the purpose of marriage. As I have taught for the past year or so I have gained a greater understanding of why marriage is ordained of God. He wants marriages to work and He will help them work if we involve him in every aspect of our marriage.
