Hi I'm Jeff Harwood

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in Utah. I am an Ultimate Frisbee player, Scuba Diver, Ballroom Dancer, and avid Flyfisherman.

About Me

My favorite sport is definately Ultimate Frisbee. I love to Ballroom Dance, and when I'm not doing either of those I'm out on the river Flyfishing. I am the oldest of four boys, and am currently serving as a missionary in British Columbia, Canada. When I return home I hope to be married and pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Finance. We were put on this earth not only to grow and learn but to also enjoy our time here. I love life. I love being out there doing instead of sitting.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of this church because I have personally read the Book of Mormon many times over the years and prayed to know if it was True. Because it is True, then this is Jesus Christ's Church. It is His only one. It is the only church on the earth that follows in perfect harmony with the Bible and how Christ organized His church when he was here. I have personally put it to the test. And I Testify that it is True.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints isn't just a religion. It's something that pushes you forward to learn and grow and to enjoy life. When we do those things like Pray, Scripture Study, and attend Church. We have a desire to go out and do more things and to bring as many people as we can with us so they can enjoy the same things that we love and enjoy. I live my Faith by inviting all to come and be apart of this great and marvelous joy filled work.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Jeff Harwood
Not everyone is required or able to serve a mission. It's a personal choice that you have to make. I can tell you it will be a tremendous blessing and the experience of a lifetime. You wouldn't want to miss that would you?  Show more Show less

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Jeff Harwood
Tithing is an ancient Law found in the Old Testament. We pay Tithing so each one of us can personally contribute in some way to the growth of the Lord's kingdom here on the Earth. Show more Show less
