Hi I'm Denyse

I am hearing impaired. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a happy person who is content with my life. This is because many things are going well. It is also because I recognize that the challenging aspects of my life are for my own growth and development. I don't struggle or wonder why I have a disability. I am a wife and mom. Through my husbands continuing education we have moved around the continent a few times. I loved meeting and getting to know people from all over. I think when I am old, I am going to go to the mall just to watch people. I'm definitly not a shopper. I love making due with what I have and being resourceful.

Why I am a Mormon

Thankfully, I was born to parents who were members of the church, lived it, and raised me in it. I say "thankfully" because I can not imagine my life without the gospel in it. I'm not sure how I would have found it on my own or if I would have been receptive. Would I be content with a differnt lifestyle? Or am I the content person I am because I have the truth in my life? I know there is great peace in following the Savior's example and I love knowing that if I am faithful I can live in Heaven with God and my family.

How I live my faith

From prayers in the morning to scripture reading at night my day revolves around living my faith. The clothes I choose are modest, the words I say are clean, my drinks are not addictive. I teach my children to follow the Golden Rule and the Ten Commandments.
