Hi I'm Kipin

I love adventure, music and bike rides. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've traveled to Egypt, completed a Disney College Program, and am currently a PR and Social Media Specialist.I recently married my best friend and graduated college .I love to travel and learn about new cultures. Writing, drawing, laughing, watching film, looking at beautiful things: all of these bring me the greatest happiness and make me thankful for a Heavenly Father who gives me so much to enjoy!

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born into the LDS church. I gained a testimony of the church through prayer, church attendance, good examples and study of the scriptures. The confirmation of my testimony came when I read the Book Of Mormon for myself, and gained the knowledge that it was a true book. Once I discovered this, everything else fell into place.

How I live my faith

I was recently married in the LDS Temple, which means that my husband and I were sealed together for time and all eternity. The privileges of the temple are for those who commit to living all the standards of the gospel, like keeping the word of wisdom, paying tithing and attending church. I was also recently called to serve with the young women of my ward. I help mentor, teach and guide young women ages 12-18 in church class and in activities throughout the week.

What is the First Vision?

Kipin
The First Vision was when Joseph Smith was visited by Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ. At age 14, struggling with decisions over what church he should join, Joseph turned to the scriptures. In James 1,5 he read "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not and it shall be given him." Joseph resigned to do just that. Looking for solitude, he walked into a grove of trees near his home. He knelt and began to pray to Heavenly Father that he would shown which church was true. He was visited by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They told him that he was loved and that the fullness of the true gospel was yet to be restored. Joseph learned that modern day revelations still occur, that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are separate beings of flesh and blood and that his life was about to change.  Show more Show less

What is the Relief Society?

Kipin
The Relief Society is one of the oldest women's organizations in the world. In the third hour of church every Sunday, the women meet together to listen to lessons on basic principles of the gospel. The Relief Societies goal is to strengthen and uplift women, and to make sure every woman knows she is a beloved daughter of God. Relief Society holds activities to help strengthen testimonies of Jesus Christ and to provide help to those in need. Our motto is "Charity Never Faileth." Show more Show less
