Hi I'm Spencer

I'm an accountant. I'm an uncle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and working on the computer. I have five nephews and two nieces, whom I absolutely love and adore! My family means a lot to me, and they are a great support to me. I have a physical disability called cerebral palsy, which affects my movement and my ability to perform any task. Despite my challenges, I have worked very hard to obtain an accounting degree and am now employed in this field. Through my faith in Jesus Christ, I receive strength to endure the trials that come my way and a determination to accomplish the goals I have set for myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The trials I face have brought me close to my Savior Jesus Christ, who is the source of my strength. Because I know He walks with me, I know that I can endure them, and they have helped me develop compassion for others who struggle with similar challenges, as well as for many who face different challenges. I have seen the Lord work miracles, some of which are large and significant, but most of which are small, simple, daily assurances of a loving Heavenly Father who cares deeply for each of His children on an individual basis. The knowledge I have learned from my church about the Lord and His plan for all of us is what keeps me grounded, and is something I wish to share with all who will listen. It has blessed and enriched my life in so many ways, and I want others to be able to receive the same blessings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith mainly by being an example. I strive to be an example of faith, of courage and determination, and of devotion to the Lord. It is important to me to maintain a positive attitude and outlook on life. Attitude is a choice, and in choosing to have a positive attitude, the difficulties of my life have been more easy to cope with as I rely on the Lord and turn them into opportunities for growth. I know that life's challenges can shape us and mold us into the person that God wants us to become. I just hope to live up to the potential that God sees in me--we all have greater potential than we realize!
