Hi I'm DL Ferguson

I love life. I love people. I love Jesus. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a returned missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love this gospel more than anything, and I love music, hiking, camping, anything outdoors, and playing with my baby cousins.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family and was baptized at the age of 8. I was baptized because I knew that this gospel was true. I continue to remain in this church because I still have that testimony of the truth. I know that this is where I belong, and that the Lord will help me through anything. I know He died so that I could return to Him and every time I think of that, comfort just washes over all of me.

How I live my faith

I have served a mission, and continue to try to share my testimony every chance i can get. I have volunteered at a local Charter School. I have worked alongside the Young women of the church in several leadership positions. I taught them by being in a youth council, as well as in the presidency of the young women. I strive to live every day being an example of my faith as I emulate my Savior's examples of compassion, understanding, and service.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

DL Ferguson
The temple is the house of The Lord, and He is present there. Covenants are made with Him in the temple that are sacred and holy. Everyone is encouraged to go to the temple frequently. But covenants and sacrifices must be made to enter into Heavenly Father's presence. First, one must make the covenant of baptism. Then one must be confirmed into the church. Those who wish to enter must keep themselves clean and worthy to be in the presence of God. Members who have been baptized into the church and live worthily may enter. However, not all members choose to live worthily to attend the temple and are therefore not permitted to enter. Show more Show less
