Hi I'm Dani

I love playing in the rain, hanging out with my FAMILY, most of all I love being happy and that is why I AM a MORMON.

About Me

I was born in Utah moved across the country when I was 6 years old, and have lived here ever since. At the age of 12 I was hit by a car. I was not supposed to live; let alone live a normal life after that. I was never supposed to finish school on time nor attend college. However, it has all been done. After graduating high school I stayed at home and attended the local college here in my town. Then I decided to move out to the west again where I attended a college for two years and LOVED every minute of it. After my first year I began to think about a mission and so I went back to school my second year and finished my general studies and began filling out mission papers. I am currently serving a mission, and love every minute of having my entire life centered on my Savior. I love horseback riding, it is something that I started to do after my accident as therapy, and now I do it for fun. It is really refreshing to the mind and spirit as you go out and ride just you the horse and nature. I get that same kind of refreshing feeling each and every week I go to church and partake of the sacrament.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS Church. However, even those that are born into the Church have to decide for themselves whether they believe the things are true. For me it was a young age, at 12 years old I had a life or death incident and at that time I knew that everything was true. Although I have also prayed about it I always knew that it was true and I am so grateful to have it is my life every day. There is no other way that I would want to live my life then with the knowledge of all Gods commandments and being able to live them to the best of my human abilities and being truly happy because of it. I love happiness and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

How do I not live my faith, I LOVE, and LIVE, my faith to the fullest. I am currently serving a full-time mission, and love having my life centered on Christ. I love serving others, and helping them closer to Christ. I love and live the Book of Mormon, I read it daily. I go to church for me, it is the reason we go to church; to strengthen ourselves in the gospel and come closer to Christ. The Church is a hospital for those that are striving for perfection, NOT a haven for perfect people to meet together. Each day I get up and read my scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father it allows me to put my day in line with the day that he would have me live as well. I am grateful for the chance that I have to go to church each week and recommit with my Heavenly Father that I am going to try better this week to do a little hard the things that HE would have me do.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Not all Mormons are required to serve missions. Young Men are strongly encouraged, young women's first are encouraged and NOW have that opportunity to do so when they turn 19. However, that is up to the sister they should pray about it and ask our Heavenly Father if that is the right decision for them. Also, with senior couples if health and life is presenting an opportunity to do so they to have the opportunity to serve as well. Show more Show less
