Hi I'm Kristie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mom of 5 kids. Two by birth, three via adoption. I am wife of almost 16 years and am excited for many more years to come.  My world revolves around these... my 6 favorite people. Im a Dance Mom, a Scout mom, a Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, PVNH fighting, Juvenile Arthritis battling mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised LDS as a Latter Day Saint Through all of the trials in my life the one consistent thing has been the gospel. I am grateful for it, for the beliefs, and mostly for the love and mercy our Lord and Savior continuously provides me.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week with my husband and children. I currently serve as a primary teacher for the 11 & 12 year ok'd girls in my ward and I love them!

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No! We will help anyone! That is one of the most wonderful things about our church is that we are a church who loves and supports all of those who surround us. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

It is a wonderful book! I love the stories, and just like the Bible there are so many wonderful lessons to be learned because of its teachings. It teaches me personally where I need to grow spiritually. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

The Bible is the word of God. It is the laws God put forth on the earth for ALL men and women to live by and follow. It is a gift to us. It is like reading letters from a loving father when you need answers. Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

It is the same as anyone else I suppose, we just spend time together at church on Sunday for 3 hours. We volunteer to help in our church, We don't smoke, drink alcohol, or use tobacco, all of which are choices. We dress in modest clothing, we read scriptures with our kids, and try to teach them good values. We teach our kids from the time they are little by our actions that service to others is an important part of our life style. We serve each other making meals for the sick, helping those in need when its time to move even when they are not Mormons just because we have all learned this growing up, it is a love of service we develop. Not because we want something, but because we sincerely desire to help. Well, maybe we do desire something... friendship! When you move to a new place because we are Mormons, we inherit an new set of friends, a new "family" to be part of no matter where in the world we are, and the things we learn in church will be the same whether i'm in my home town or a far away country.
