Hi I'm Kelly

I'm a Christian.

About Me

I am a husband of a very talented woman. We have six children and five grand children. They are my best reason for living and believing. I have worked in health care management and real estate appraising. I like teaching and speaking and want to make a career out of that. I love hiking and going on vacation with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Years ago when I was in High School I was invited by a friend to an early morning testimony meeting. I was not active in the church and this was surprise to me. He called me at midnight to go to a meeting that started at 6:00 am. For some reason I agreed and he then asked me to give him and another friend a ride to the meeting. So I was committed not to sleep in. We sat in the back to make it easier to leave if we did not want to stay. However, the meeting was amazing. One girl talked about how her parents threatened to kick her out of the house if she joined the church. When she turned 18 she was baptized and was told to leave home. I knew my parents would never do that to me. I was humbled by her willingness to follow her convictions no matter the consequences. After that I began reading the Book of Mormon and so did my friends. We all became converted over a period of time. I surprised many people when I announced I would fulfill a full-time mission for the church for two years. I love what the gospel has done for me and how it has changed my life for the better and given me hope.

How I live my faith

Our church is a volunteer organization. I have served in many positions such as teaching children, young adults, and adults. I also serve our community through membership in the Exchange Club. We support the arts for youth and Child Abuse Prevention programs. We also donate time in various projects to beautify our city.
