Hi I'm Lilli Francesca

I'm a mom of 2, wife to an amazing man, I'm a scrapbooker & I love my Savior. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom to two beautiful children and wife to an amazing husband. My hobbies consist of scrapbooking, sewing, crafting, cooking and helping friends with their baby showers. I'm a recent convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This August I will be a member of 6 years and I'm loving every moment of it. I became a member in 2005 when 2 missionaries approached me with a pass-along card. They began teaching me the Gospel and within 3 months of intense investigating I committed to be Baptized. It was the most important & influential decision I've ever made in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the moment I heard Joseph Smith's First Vision story from the Missionaries I knew in my heart that this church was the True Church of God. The Missionaries taught me that Joseph Smith saw a pillar of light exactly above his head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon him. When the light rested upon him he saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above him in the air. One of them spake unto him, calling him by name and said, pointing to the other - This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him! At the exact moment I heard this, I knew that it was true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by raising my children in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I strive to attend the Temple regularly in order to stay close to my Heavenly Father. My husband and I strive to keep the five walls of protection in our home 1 Family Scripture Study 2 Family Prayer 3 Family Home Evening 4 Attending the Temple 5 Paying a Full Tithe. I live my faith by teaching my children of Jesus Christ and helping them gain and form their own testimony of the church. I live my faith by attending our church meetings every Sunday, doing my Visiting Teaching, serving the Lord and helping to serve others.

What is being a Mormon like?

Lilli Francesca
Being a Mormon is such a wonderful privilege. I love that my husband and I can raise our children in the church, help them gain their own testimonies, teach them about the Savior and show them how living the Gospel can prepare them for what Heavenly Father has in store for them. I love being a Mormon because it brings me true happiness! I can't imagine my life without the church, my husband or children and I am truly grateful for the Missionaries that found me, taught me and helped me learn the Gospel, I would not be where I am today in life without these wonderful people. Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Lilli Francesca
Mormons baptize their new members so they can make a covenant/promise with Heavenly Father to live his commandments. In doing this, they are given the Gift of the Holy Ghost and protection as a constant companionship. Mormons baptize their new members so they can feel of the wondrous joy living the Gospel of Jesus Christ can bring to their lives. I just look at my children, the innocence in their eyes, the love Heavenly Father has for them and the beautiful beginning I can give them by teaching them the Gospel and preparing them for their future Baptism.  Show more Show less
