Hi I'm Steve

I am a landscaper and a missionary. I love my family. I love my friends. I love my God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school in 2011. I had a job as a landscaper for a seventeen acre retirement community. I love plants. My hope is to save up to own my own commercial greenhouse one day. I am currently serving an ecclesiastical mission for the church in Barranquilla, Colombia for two years. I am grateful for the privelege to give of my time to the Lord. I am not paid, and I gave all of my money to help pay for this opportunity, I am grateful for my family who supports me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an Mormon family. I have learned, over the years, that it is my family that makes me truly happy. I love them dearly, and my parents have taken the time to show me that they love me too. I continue in the gospel because I have found that the more I learn about this church, the more amazing truth there is to be found. You can never finish learning about the church in the same way that you can never finish learning about science. It is a joyful experience that will keep me going strong for the rest of my life.

How I live my faith

I volunteered in my ward's community garden. It is amazing to see the food we grow as it goes to those members of the community that need it. I also used to visit three families in my ward to make sure that they have everything that they need. Now I am preaching the Gospel and serving the people of Barranquilla, Colombia in an ecclesiastical mission for the church.BR

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

I need my Savior because, through my challenges, He has become my best and closest friend. Because I am not perfect, Christ has made it possible for me to return to live with God, a perfect being. This forgiveness of sin only comes when I rely wholly on Christ, and when the burden of sin is lifted, it is the most wonderful feeling in the world. Show more Show less
