Hi I'm Jonathan

I'm a Bay Area native, a coach U-6 soccer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In 2005 I married my best friend. Since that time, my beautiful wife and I have been blessed with 1 son and 3 beautiful daughters. My wife & I both grew up here in the Bay Area, and we can't imagine life anywhere else. I have always loved sports, both playing & watching. This year I coached my son's U-6 soccer team, and it was a blast! Not only did it give me the opportunity to bond with my son, but our family was able to make many new friends in our community.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and was always "active" in the faith, but it was during my freshman year in college that my testimony grew by leaps and bounds, and I made the commitment to strive daily to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm not perfect (just ask my wife!), but it is the principles I learned in my youth that have made me who I am today.

How I live my faith

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength..." That pretty much sums it up. Loving those around me comes easy as I put God first in my life. I currently preside over our local men's group, known within the Church as the "Elders Quorum." I love serving in this capacity because I get to see small acts of service and love that bless the lives of those around me. The men I serve with, inspire me daily to be a better father, husband, neighbor, and friend. The Bible and the Book of Mormon are a great strength to me in my life, and I do my best to read from these Scriptures daily.
