Hi I'm Paul

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. My wife and I have been married for 36 years and raised 5 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a software engineer, I went to college at Cal Poly in Pomona California graduating with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. I'm 62 years old, and my hobbies are building plastic models, reading and spending time with my wife and grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both LDS Mormons so I was raised in the church, but I still had to work to develop my own testimony. I studied the scriptures, prayed, fasted and asked Heavenly Father if the church is indeed the re-established church of Jesus Christ, if there is a prophet on the earth now, if the Book of Mormon and was translated from plates delivered to Joseph Smith by the angel Moroni. I got my answer. It didn't come right away - it took some time, but when the Holy Ghost gave me the answer - there was no question on my part as to its truth. I have stayed active in the church because it gives me purpose, peace, and because I know that it is the true Church here on the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living the two great laws as given by the Savior. The first is to love my God with all of my heart mind might and strength. The second is to love my fellow man as myself. It is that simple. In everyday terms - I read the scriptures and pray every day. I currently serve in a church position which gives me the great opportunity to speak in front of the congregations once a month.
