Hi I'm Ashley

I am a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 26 years old. My biggest blessings in my life are my family and friends. I am a wife to my best friend, we have been married for 6 years. I am a mother to a red headed 18 month old boy. I have my B.S. in Health Education. I have worked mainly in the fields of education and with people who have disabilities. I love photography, decorating, any crafts and love playing with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have lived life without hope and faith. I was tired of being unhappy and knew that there was more out there. I had many friends who truly believed and followed the LDS church. They were so much happier than my friends who didn't. I wanted that happiness and I was going to find it. I had never read The Book Of Mormon the whole way through. I knew of the promise that Moroni made in the last part of The Book Of Mormon he was one of the many ancient prophets who had written in the book. He promises as we read this book "I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost." I decided to read the entire book with an open heart and I sincerely prayed about it. I many times while reading the book received the warmest of feelings in my heart, a burning in my soul. I knew with all my heart that it was a true book. It was another testament of Jesus. I knew that the book was true. I knew that This was God's true church on the earth. I have many times felt of this and have known it was true. Nothing can shake my conviction. I am an imperfect person who believes that through the atonement and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ that we can be forgiven for our sins, and that there is life after death. I know that our Savior suffered for our sins and pains. I know that we are all loved by Our Heavenly Father. Being a mother, I only understand a very small part of his love.

How I live my faith

Serving in our church is 100 volunteer effort. No one is compensated, not even those who are in charge. We are extremely blessed for serving others and we really do so much of that as members of the church. I have taught children from 18-3 years, 6-10 years, and 12-18 years old.
