Hi I'm Carl

I'm a Mormon. I hope you find peace and joy in your day.

About Me

I am a father and a husband. We have 4 children. Three sons and a daughter ages 33 to 25. I have worked for IBM for 33 years and in my current assignment I sell microelectronics. I enjoy golf, skiing, scuba diving, hiking and just generally being outdoors. In the church I have served in many youth assignments and am currently serving as the Bishop of our ward.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church all my life. I served a 2yr mission and have seen the gospel of Jesus Christ influence so many others in such a positive way. In the church, are the answers to key issues of the day, and to the questions that generations have wondered where did I come from, why am I here and where am I going after this life. I have seen the positive influence in my family, as it provides a guidepost by which we can lead our lives, meet the challenges we face, and strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ. I know that this church contains the pure truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ because I have experienced the joy which living the gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the Bishop of our ward, or congregation. It is not a paid assignment, as we do not have paid clergy in the church. I am responsible for the spiritual and temporal well being of the members and reach out to even those that are not members as needed and appropriate. I love the youth and work to help them find their way, understand their potential and realize their goals. Teaching them faith in Christ and His atonement lead to some of the most rewarding and fulfilling relationships I know.
