Hi I'm Nathan

I love music, my family, and the gospel of Jesus Christ and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 6 children so I've developed some fast reflexes. I loved my childhood and I want the same for my future children. School was more for my social life and extracurricular activities than anything else. I was heavily involved in Choir and Theatre (musicals are the BEST!). I graduated high school and went on to University. That was difficult. I love the classes and the learning but I never was any good at taking test. But I love the feeling of getting an education and stretching myself and becoming someone who I want to be.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I was born into the LDS faith. I always trusted my mom and dad so I just did what they told me to do and things always worked out just fine. But then I started to grow up and I started becoming more independent. I wanted to do my own thing. I was asking myself a lot of questions about where I wanted to be in the future and where God wanted me to be. I knew a verse in the Book of Mormon that says, "And when ye shall receive these things (meaning the Book of Mormon and the teachings in the book) I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true. And if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." I prayed with a sincere heart and I know that I did receive and answer from God through the Holy Ghost. I read the Book of Mormon and I felt an undeniable manifestation that the Book of Mormon and its teachings were true.

How I live my faith

In this season of my life I've decided that the best way to live my faith is by teaching it full time as a missionary. It's hard to leave family, friends, and my educations behind for two years, but the longer I'm out the more I realize that this is the best thing I could be doing right now. I've never been more happy in my life!

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not worship Joseph Smith. We worship God the Father and Jesus Christ. But the reason why we add an emphasis to and love Joseph Smith is because he was the man chosen by God to be a modern day prophet and to restore the gospel back to the earth because it was lost over time. Show more Show less
