Hi I'm Spencer K Bailey

I'm studying International Business. I am an Entrepreneur, collegiate cyclist, & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

At age 15 I started a marketing company and developed a love for business! I am now currently studying International Business and Mandarin Chinese. I will be taking a two year break to serve a mission in Taiwan for the Church. I also compete competitively as a collegiate cyclist for my university. I enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities like climbing, cycling, skiing, and swimming. I regularly compete in triathlons and marathons, and I absolutely love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints does more than just make me happy, it empowers me to live with Joy everyday! To me joy is a much more fulfilling feeling than just being happy! At age 12 I was struggling with my self-worth and image! I found when I read the Book of Mormon I could overcome these challenges. Though I accepted most of its content I still questioned its validity. So, on an afternoon ski trip atop a mountain close to my home I knelt in the snow to pray and seek for myself if the Book of Mormon was truly a book from God. In sub-zero temperatures I felt more warm than I had ever been as a feeling of absolute peace came over me confirming this book I had read was true. Ever since that experience the Book of Mormon has fueled the Joy and excitement I live with each day!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through serving others and seeing the smile on their faces. Recently I organized a triathlon for Make-A-Wish where we raised over $1,500 for a local child's wish. I have grown to love people as I serve them and share the joy each day can be when you follow the example of our savior Jesus Christ.

What is being a Mormon like?

Spencer K Bailey
Being a Mormon is being an individual with the end in mind. We know we are gods children and that he has a plan for us to return to him. This knowledge brings other members of our church together and surrounds you with individuals who share your joys and your sorrows. Through the church you live your life with more enthusiasm, more excitement, and more joy. Mormonism empowers you to magnify yourself and exemplify your true potential!  Show more Show less
