Hi I'm Scott Jensen

I've lived my whole life in San Jose except for 2 years as a missionary in Argentina. I'm a husband, dad, grandad and a Mormon.

About Me

Entrepreneur - always have been. Husband, father, grandfather - that is excellent. Favorite hobby - vintage car restoration, 2nd favorite - ipod and iphone repair - then sell em on ebay! The piano and guitar are my instruments of choice - been playing since 2nd grade! Been in 5 or 6 bands and most played classic rock and even made a few bucks way back.

Why I am a Mormon

The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ is the word of God. There is a unique promise near its conclusion that asks the reader to read, ponder and pray about the book. What is promised to all who do this is a testimony of its truthfulness. This comes to those who read, ponder and pray by the power of the Holy Ghost - the 3rd member of the Godhead. I have followed the instructions found in the book called Moroni Chapter 10, verses 3-5 and have been blessed as promised. If I had to state why I live the life of a believer, one who believes in Christ, it is because of the answer I received about the Book of Mormon - that it is divine, it came from God.

How I live my faith

I make every effort to do a little better each day. One can review each day at its conclusion and plan ways to improve a little tomorrow. There is much to do with family, work and the work of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - there is time to do much good. This might be called a personal ministry. We can help our neighbors and also be a good example to all we meet. I try to care for and bless a few people who I have been asked to watch over. I visit them regularly, share a message of faith and find out if they have any needs that I can assist with. I visit one of my church friends using email. I make myself available to others whenever possible. If I can help others with any matters be they temporal or spiritual I hope to be ready and able to do so.
