Hi I'm David!

I'm the father of two, I'm an athlete, I start MBA school this fall, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have a boy and a girl. On our date nights, we love to go to "build your own frozen yogurt" shops. While living in the Canary Islands of Spain, I became fluent in Spanish. I am an MBA student. I love to play soccer and basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

My Dad is a convert to the church. From a young age, I wanted to serve the Lord as a missionary and marry in the temple. Now that my wife and I have children of our own, we feel it is essential to teach them of Jesus Christ and His Gospel. My testimony has given me stability and hope. My mother passed away from breast cancer when I was 14. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder during college. My testimony has strengthened me in those and other moments of hardship. I am a happy person and I owe it to my faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

For the past year and a half I have been the local church president of a group of 30+ men ages 18-55. We gather every Sunday at church to talk about the Gospel. We also have monthly activities outside of church to build friendships and to facilitate leadership opportunities for the men of our group.

What is faith?

To me, faith is courage and optimism. A person of faith has the courage to rise above the hardships, doubts, and discouragements of life knowing that the Lord wants us--His children--to be happy, optimistic, and successful. Show more Show less
