Hi I'm Cora

I am a massage therapist, friend, sister and adventurer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a massage therapist by trade, but a scouter by passion. I love working at scout camps and teaching outdoors skills. I think Venturing is the coolest thing since ice cubes. I love camping, archery rock climbing, and trying new things. I'm shy about meeting new people but love making friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because everything about Christ's gospel makes me happy. I am filled with joy when I read of Christ's life and ministry in the Bible and Book of Mormon. When I pray, I can feel God's love enveloping me. When I attend church, I feel the Holy Ghost bearing witness to me that the things I'm learning are true. I love learning about Christ, and feeling his love for me every time I use his atonement to cover my mistakes and heartbreaks.

How I live my faith

I live to share God's love. Although I often make mistakes, I try to see everyone I meet as Christ see them, and to love them like he does. I love talking of Christ, rejoicing in Christ, and sharing what I know about him. As a scouter, I try to help youth understand how learning and living the qualities of the Scout Oath and Law, and the Venturing Code, will help them live a happy life. To me, these are the same principles taught by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
