Hi I'm Carol

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. I have lived in California for many years.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Most importantly I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me. That is what makes me who I am. My husband and I were married in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS temple 46 years ago. We were married for time and all eternity. He passed away five years ago but knowing we will be together forever as an eternal family brings peace and joy to me. We have five wonderful children and their eternal companions, plus twenty-three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. They are a joy and comfort to me. They are my greatest blessings. I love life and enjoy helping other people find the same happiness the gospel brings to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have been blessed since a small child to have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ as my Savior and Redeemer. I know that I am a daugter of Heavenly Father and have the blessing of the spirit of the Holy Ghost bear witness to me of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowing who I am and that my purpose on this earth is to make sacred covenants with my Father in Heaven to obey His commandments and consecrate my life to Him makes my life happy. Being able to always feel close to the Savior and feel His love for me and my family gives me purpose in life. I know that this life is but a short time and that we will live together as a family with God helps me put life into perspective. When the trials come I know it will only be for this life and I know that I am never alone, that my prayers are always answered.

How I live my faith

I try to see others as the Savior would see them, to love them and to lift them. This brings great peace into my life. Because I have been so blessed, I want to help others. I served as a missionary for the church. I had the opportunity to serve daily helping others find employment, listen to their stories and try to help them. Many were not members of our church. I love them and they all are truly my brothers and sisters. I have worked with the young people of our church as well as serving as a president and teacher of a women's organization. I feel so blessed to be able to learn from others and try to be Christ-like in my thoughts and actions.
