Hi I'm Chelsea Thompson

I grew up in Albuquerque. I'm an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student at a church university and I am majoring in Web Design and Development. I enjoy drawing, writing, sculpting, and computer programing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by my mother. My father is not a member but always encouraged my activity in the church. I went through a period of time when I had a lot of my own questions about whether what my mother had raised me to believe in was true. Through study of the scriptures and intense prayer I eventually gained a testimony in Love of our God, how He and His son, Jesus Christ showed Their love for us by creating a magnificent world for us to live in. Christ suffered and died to provide us the opportunity to be forgiven of all our sins and live with Our Father and our Savior in the Celestial Kingdom.

How I live my faith

I try to live the commandments to the best of my abilities, not just the ten commandments but all those that have been given to the modern Prophets. I attend church regularly, I do my best to read my scriptures and pray often. At the moment serve the church through humanitarian work, but I have also worked with the women of the church before.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Chelsea Thompson
We live like normal people. We love our families, work hard at our jobs, and enjoy social activities. The only difference I can think of is that we do have a devotion to our faith. When we're at our best we read our scriptures often and as a family, pray multiple times a day, and go to church on Sunday. When we're not at our best we don't do those things as often, but we try. We also strive to improve ourselves continually. Show more Show less
