Hi I'm Jackson Julian

I'm a wrestler, a wakeboarder, a baptizer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jackson. My hometown is Parker, Colorado. I am the youngest of 4 kids. I have two brothers and a sister. My family means everything to me. My absolute favorite thing to do, my passion, is wrestling. I have wrestled for about 14 years all around the country. Also I love to wakeboard, and pretty much anything involved with the water.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church for a couple of different reasons. I grew up in the church ever since I was a little boy. I don't think I ever really comprehended what it meant to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints until I was in my teen years in High School. Even then I don't think I had the STRONGEST testimony. But at this point in my life, as I look back, I can see all the blessings that the Gospel has brought to me and my family. My family is stronger than ever and the love for one another is deeper than anyone could ever imagine. I know that through the Gospel, My family will be together forever. I know that we will be able to live with God, our Heavenly Father, again someday. It is only because of the Gospel that I am able to say that I know these things. And because I know these things I have found great comfort and happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

As of right now I am a missionary serving in the California Fresno Mission. So everyday I go out and meet new people and teach them of the Gospel. I testify to people of the things that I know Heavenly Father has in store for us. I testify to them that they are children of God and that because He loves us he wants us to return to live with him. I help these people draw closer to God by inviting them to be baptized by someone that holds Authority to do so. And the biggest thing is that I try my absolute hardest to just be a good person, because that is what Jesus taught us to do.

What is the priesthood?

Jackson Julian
The priesthood is the authority given to man to act in the name of God. This authority allows man to perform saving oridances, such as baptism, and to preach the one true Gospel in its absolute pure form. An Ordinance that is done without this authority is invalid in the eyes of God. This authority was given to the twelve Apostles when Jesus was on the Earth. When Jesus and the Apostles died, this authority was no long on the Earth. That is how so many different churches came about. Without the authority, plain and precious truths and doctrines were changed. And the Gospel was no longer pure. Until about 1800 years later when God called a young man, named Joseph Smith, to be His Prophet. Through Joseph, this authority was restored and the fulness of the Gospel was brought back to the Earth. This Pristhood Authority is only found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint, the one and only church that Jesus Christ established.  Show more Show less
