Hi I'm Jason

I'm a drummer, professional musician, recording engineer, and business owner - and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've had music running through my soul since I was born. I've only recently began to realize that I can live my dreams of being a professional musician and recording engineer, and am having an incredible experience doing so. I'm a father of 4 young children, I have been married to my soulmate for almost 10 years, and loving it. I've been a drummer since I was 14, and doing it professionally since 2009. I'm a various bands, and love performing. I'm a professional computer programmer, but also own and operate my own recording studio. I'm hoping I'll be a full-time musician and audio engineer soon. I believe smiles should be shared abundantly, that your light should shine from the inside out, and that music is the spice of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family, and brought up being taught its principles. This, however, is not why I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today. I'm an active member of this church today because I have received personal witnesses of its truthfulness. I know Jesus Christ is my savior, and through His atonement, I can live with Him eternally. I feel there is much to be done, and with the help of Christ, I also feel I am able to do it. I love Jesus Christ, and I love the Holy Ghost. I love my Father in Heaven, and through His grace, I know I can live with Him again one day.

How I live my faith

For me, my religion is my lifestyle. I don't believe I could ever separate the two. The teachings of Jesus Christ are with me where ever I go, and it's my duty to emulate them. I'm LDS when I'm at church, I'm LDS when I'm at home, when I'm at work, on vacation, on business trips, etc... I live my faith by trying to follow Christ's teachings where ever I am. Being a musician, this hasn't always been easy. Unfortunately, the music scene is usually accompanied by things of this world, of which I choose not to partake. I'm living proof that one can be very involved with creating, performing, and recording, producing, and engineering music, and still live a Christ-like life.
