Hi I'm Carlen

I'm a wife & mother of 6 children & I'm a Mormon. I was raised in a Mormon family of 7 children & family is very important to me.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 6 wonderful children. I enjoy photography and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ blesses my life every day. Its teachings help me to be a better person, a better wife, and a better mother. I know that if I follow its teachings, I can be with my family beyond this life and enjoy them eternally. I know that because I am not perfect--but learning and growing here on Earth--I need my Savior, Jesus Christ to help me return to my Heavenly Father. His atonement makes this possible. The Gospel brings me peace, hope, and a clear understanding of what my purpose is in life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to follow the example set by Jesus Christ, of being kind, respectful, and compassionate. I try to serve others and lift the burdens of all of Gods children. I study the scriptures--both the Bible and the Book of Mormon--to learn more about the life of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I attend church weekly with my family. I also share the Gospel with my family and encourage my children to live good lives too. I try to share the joy that my faith brings to me with all that I come in contact with.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Carlen
Our Father in Heaven is literally our Father and desires for us to develop and nurture a very personal relationship with Him. We have a direct and very real line of communication with him through prayer. Prayer is powerful and I have faith that when any person prays to Heavenly Father with a sincere heartfelt desire to communicate with him and faith, He will hear them and answer them with the tender response of a loving parent.
