Do you want to chat with a missionary?

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Jeremy

I live in Utah and am currently on a mission in Minnesota. been a member my entire life, and I love being Mormon!

About Me

I'm a person who loves the outdoors, my family, friends. I do a lot of photography, acting, self reliance sports running, swimming, etc. and I like to try new things when I feel like it. I'm on my mission in Minnesota. I want to be a Paramedic and be stationed in the U-Med Emergency Helicopter Services. I love what I currently do and love everything that has helped me in life. I'm an Amateur Radio Operator with my call sign KE7ENZ. many of the things I've learned has saved my life on more than one occasion. I love computers and building them.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been raised a Mormon all my life, it hasn't been easy many times, but it has been worth it every time. My family is very important to me and it's great I know we'll be a family forever. I've stayed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, because nothing else has helped me in this life as much as this church has.

How I live my faith

Living this faith is a constant progression. much like a wheel no sooner you finish one full cycle of everything you must begin again to keep moving forward. "I have wrestled with an alligator, and I've tussled with a whale. Put hand cuffs on lightning thrown thunder in jail. I went to put the light off in my bedroom, hit the switch and was in the bed before the room was dark. ... I will show you how great I am!" Mohammad Ali Champion Boxer

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Jeremy
I know a "Testimony" as a "Witness" it is a personal knowledge of something. many of us in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Mormons give our own personal witness to the doctrines we know. such as Tithing, the Word of Wisdom, the Divinity of Jesus Christ and his Atonement. this is not everything by any means. but as you experiment on these doctrines then you may gain a personal witness of The Church of Jesus Christ. Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Jeremy
This is a very good question, only worthy members are allowed into a temple. Worthiness is determined by two leaders in the church Bishop & Stake President for interest if space and simplicity I won't get into the organization of the church If you are found worthy you are able to go into a temple. A Temple is a dedicated "House of the Lord" and is considered holy ground. Is there something secret going on in the temple? No, there is something Sacred going on in the temple Secret means it is hidden from the world, Sacred means it is special to you and to God. What goes on inside a temple? it is a place where we make special promises with God, and do special work for the dead. also can't get into that for interest of simplicity A temple is a sacred place to me, where I can be closer to my heavenly father. they are quiet and always have a beauty about them. I hope this helped answer a few questions. Show more Show less
