Hi I'm Kevin

I work with "at-risk" children. I am an attorney. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an attorney is Las Vegas, Nevada. I co-founded the I Have a Dream Foundation, Inc.--Las Vegas where we sponsored 65 at risk children, the "Dreamers," and raised money to pay for their college tuition. Our first "Dreamer" graduated from college in May of 2011. I am the father of four daughters. I love spending time with my children and learning from them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me the answers to life's questions. When I or my family face adversity, we turn to the Lord and we pray that through our best efforts and His grace and mercy, He will strengthen us. I have experienced the confirming Spirit of God that what I believe is true. I try to live the gospel as best I can but fall short at times. That's okay because I know God loves me and my family. We as a family will never give up trying to be like Jesus. By doing so, we have experienced great blessings in our lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to develop strong character. Accordingly, I strive to always have integrity and courage at work. I also strive to be kind and patient with my children. I visit families every month in my congregation to see if there is anything I can do to help them. I try to work with "at-risk" children, the "Dreamers," to help them get into college or trade school. I serve in my Church by being a teacher. Sometimes it is not easy to try to do all of these things, but I have learned that if I don't give up, good things will happen.
