Hi I'm Rick

I'm a Husband and Father of four. I love sports and the great outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the most beautiful and wonderful woman in the world. We have four children three son's and a daughter. We love sports. Our kids are active in football, wrestleing, basketball, track, baseball and vollyball. I have been coaching football at our high school for the past 9 seasons. We also enjoy waterskiing and riding dirt bikes. I have worked in the agriculture industry for 20 years and I enjoy the challange and rewards it brings my life. We live in southern Idaho and love it here. My favorite thing to do is be with my family and watch our children participate in thier activities. Life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents always took us to church and emphasised the importance of living our religion seven days a week and not just on Sunday. I have great parents and we did alot of activities together when I was young. They taught me how important family is and the blessings of spending time together. Now that I have a family I want to spend as much time with them as I can. I always believed that the Church was true. Shortly before going on my mission to Chicago, I had an expierience while reading in the Book of Mormon. I recieved personal revelation that the Book of Mormon was true. I also gained a strong testimony that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that going on a mission and serving our Father in heaven was the right thing to do. I have built my testimony on that foundation and it has continued to grow. I have had many wonderful expiriences that continue to develop and strengthen my testimony.

How I live my faith

I have tried to instill in our Children the same convictions and importance of living our religion that my parents taught me. I have served in many callings in the church including working with the Young Men and Scouts, serving as a Finance Clerk, working with the Elders and serving on the High Council. Each of these callings to serve have given me oppurtunities to teach about our Savior, to bare testimony of him and to teach and lead by example. I am greatful for the blessings the Gospel of Jesus Christ provide for me and my family.
