Hi I'm Thomas!

I am a married Student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have one baby boy and looking to have more soon. I currently am a student going into medicine, and also working on my MBA. I enjoy playing any sport, and love basketball, soccer, golf, team handball, and ping pong. I am really down to earth and love to just enjoy life.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, for me it simply came down to the Book of Mormon and if it really was true. I am the kind of person that needs to find things out for myself and I could't just go by what everyone else has said. I read the Book of Mormon, pondered about it and then asked God if it was true. I then felt an amazing feeling, one that I will never forget. It was similar to the times in my life when I knew what I needed to do and just felt really good about the decision, but it was more intense. I felt that it was completely correct and that I needed to continue to attend the meetings, and apply all the teachings to my life. From that experience and others more recent I have gained what the bible calls a testimony and I know that this was what I need in my life to become who I need to become. Over time I have seen how the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is truly Christ's church that he established on the earth in New Testament times. It has been restored to the earth through a young boy named Joseph Smith, who was called by God to be a Prophet, just like Moses, Noah, Adam, and all of the other great ordinary men that became great in the service of God. After receiving an answer I know that the things that continue to be taught by the prophet today are true.

How I live my faith

I have served in many different positions in the church and love to serve whenever I can. I have found that it is not where you are called to serve but it is how you serve when you are called. I love the programs that the church has for all of it's members and how it is truly designed to help and serve everyone. I also live my faith through example at work and also at college where I am the student body president working with hundreds of students.
