Hi I'm Naly

I LOVE MY LIFE! I'm a missionary in the Texas Fort Worth Mission. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary in the Best Mission in the World!!! I am a daughter and sister to an amazing family. I love running, playing sports, reading, cooking, spending time with my family, and sharing the gospel with everyone I see!! I plan to pursue a career in dietetics/nutrition, be a wife and mother, and do my part in building up the Lord's kingdom here upon the earth. Half Thai. Pure smiles. Peanut butter and honey sandwiches. Humidity. Running. Football. Tracting. BMW. Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father loves me and that His Son Jesus Christ did establish one true church that is right for everyone. I know that Heavenly Father is our literal father and that He loves us beyond anything our human minds can comprehend. I know that He knows us individually and cares for us. He sent us to this earth so that we can learn, grow, and progress to become like Him someday. I know Heavenly Father wants us to be happy and successful in life. For that reason, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to atone for His children, and thereby provide a way for us to overcome sin and death and return to live with our Father in Heaven. I know that it is only through our Savior Jesus Christ that we can be reconciled to God and be worthy to enter into his presence. I know that Jesus Christ truly knows how each of us feels because he has gone through every experience- whether good or bad- that we have ever gone through, are going through, and will ever go through. I am so grateful for the Restored gospel. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and an instrument in God's hands in restoring the fulness of the gospel to this earth. I know that by the power of God, Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and established Christ's church in these latter days. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God because I have read it, prayed to know that it is true, and received an undeniable witness of it's truthfulness and divinity by the power of the Holy Ghost. Most importantly, I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and for his love for me. That is the one constant assurance in my life that will never leave me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing the gospel with others! I am currently a missionary serving in the Texas Fort Worth Mission- the Best Mission in the World! Being a missionary and personal representative of Jesus Christ, it is easy to live my faith. Each day, I wake up and teach, serve, and share my testimony from 10am to 9pm. My mission has been a defining experience in my life. It means everything to me! The experiences I have had in this short year and a half have strengthened my conviction and increased my understanding of our Heavenly Father's plan of salvation, as well as my personal role in His eternal plan. It truly is a plan of happiness! My greatest desire is to help others gain a testimony of these things so that they too can see, know, and feel the promised blessings that come through obedience to this gospel.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Naly
Most definitely! The Bible is amazing and we love it! It is the record of Christ's dealings with those who lived in and around the continent of Ancient Israel. Those prophets, whom God had called, recorded their words and experiences as they were inspired. They testify that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that it is only through Christ that we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again. We love the Book of Mormon also, which is the sacred record of Christ's dealings with those who lived in the Ancient Americas. Those prophets too, testified of Christ and were inspired to keep a record that would be brought forth later, in our day and age. The Book of Mormon contains precious truths that help us more fully understand our Heavenly Father's plan for his children, with Jesus Christ being central to this plan. It is the most pure record of scripture, being translated one time by the power of God, through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that both books of scripture are the word of God because I have read them, prayed to know of their truthfulness, and received answers to prayer. I know they contain the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. To me, that means that we have everything we need to know in order to be happy and successful in this life and in the eternities to come... If we but have faith in Jesus Christ, repent, are baptized by one holding the authority of God, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost by that same power, and endure to the end. Show more Show less
