Hi I'm Bryce

I'm an Athlete, a Musician, a photographer. I'm from the south... (of Utah). I follow Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in St.George, Utah. I like to run, bike, climb, play tennis, basketball, soccer early in the morning, other awesome sports, basically if its a sport I'll play it. I play guitar among other things. I like to eat the things that look weird at restaurants or buffets; that is because i like to say "I've tried it!" I have a thing for photography..:) I am a musician. I'm a student studying Mechanical Engineering in Utah...I might be overly ambitious? :) i play pokemon from time to time among other nerd like things. I served a mission in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission and I loved it. I love to serve. I love my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I learned for myself that this Church is Christ’s church on the Earth today, because I read from the Book of Mormon and prayed to know the truth, another key is pondering, that's when i first received an answer that the Book of Mormon was true. I had an overwhelming indescribable feeling come over me from the Holy Spirit testifying that it is truth, and I know that it is truth from the Spirit because the feeling I got from praying about this church, about the Book of Mormon, and about Joseph Smith, is the same feeling I received when I prayed to know whether or not God existed, whether he loved me, or if he even cared. I know that God lives and He loves us and wants what’s best for us. He and His Son will always be there to lift us up and help us carry our burdens if we let them. There isn't any good logical reason why I wouldn't choose to be a Mormon after my experiences.

How I live my faith

Everyday I strive to do right in the eyes of God, I want to return to live with him someday, so I do all I can and when I fall short (which is always) I know the Savior Jesus Christ is ready to come to my aide and help me be more than I am. I served a full time mission in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission, it was the most fulfilling thing I've ever done. I love the restored gospel, I know that it is the happiest way to live. I try to share it with those around me, through example and work.

What is being a Mormon like?

Bryce
Being a member of the church is very similar to being a human being. because thats what we are. We're no different than other people you know. in fact you may know people that are mormon and not know it. Mormons are just average people working day to day with the same problems you have, the only difference is the light and the knowledge we carry. that God is our loving heavenly father and blesses us. and that we're members of the only true and living church on the earth today. living because we recieve revelation through a prophet from God and that this life is only a small piece of our eternal lives. How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Bryce
well there's a handy dandy button right over there ^ and using it you can request to have missionaries come and teach you the Gospel of Jesus Christ and when you've come to church and been found worthy and met certain requirements keeping commandments, keeping commitments, reading from the Book of Mormon etc... you can be baptized by immersion by someone holding the Priesthood authority from God which is just how Christ was baptized and how you become a member of Christs church here on the earth today.
