Hi I'm Austin

I was born and raised in North Florida. I'm a full time college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the seventh child of ten. My parents adopted my two younger brothers when I was twelve. I married my high school sweetheart December 2010. She and I had been together for about five years, two of which I was away serving as a missionary. While I was away she and I wrote letters back and forth. I am a college student currently working towards a degree in food and nutrition science. It was on my mission that I became interested in nutrition. Before I planned on becoming a music teacher. After taking a few classes for the education major I started getting really depressed about the idea of teaching. It was at this time that I started to look into other options including military. After a lot of prayer and searching I realized how much I loved learning about nutrition and the many aspects of it. I had an amazing confirmation from Heavenly Father that nutrition was the right path. Needless to say I switched everything over and I'm still in the first few years of my education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Around Sixteen I decided that I had to know for myself if I was making the right choices. I prayed for a confirmation from God if this was the true Gospel of Jesus Christ There was no grand revelation. I decided that the silence was God telling me that I already knew the answer and he would have told me otherwise. In the following years my knowledge and understanding increased to where I now know that I was right when I was sixteen.

How I live my faith

I help the members reach out to people not of our faith by providing examples and easy ways to share what we believe.
