Hi I'm Nils

I was raised in small Idaho community, Live in Utah, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, dad, grandfather, enjoy hardwork, integrity, and learning from others. I went to school as a engineer and now work manage a international company.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon Church, however we each need to at some point come to understand what truth is. For me it is knowing prayers our answered, help is given, and peace is provided. I follow not in blind faith, but through inner promptings that I know come from God. This knowledge helps me live and grow closer to God in a world filled with confusion. I live as a plan is in place to help me overcome, to try again despite mistakes I make, and to stay focused so I can return and live with Him.

How I live my faith

I follow because I love Him and want to be like Him. Although I struggle and have challenges, I get up and try again to follow more closely as He has helped me in the past to overcome. Strength is provided by a loving family that also gives me encouragement and acceptances as we strive and support each other.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Nils
I travel globally and am blessed that I can find a Mormon service in most areas I visit. I attend to partake of the emblems of the sacrament and renew covenants I have made with God to serve him, to be obedient, to represent him, and to bless others. Translators are often available to help me understand the services. I recieve strength from these services as those who speak and teach are like you and I, simply sharing lessons in life that they have learned. As I attend in various locations, I am a stranger, however always welcomed as a new member of a ftheir amily. This comes not because these congregations recognize me as a member of the Mormon Church, but because they recognize me as a child of God. All who attend are recognized as such.  Show more Show less
