About Me

I like galaxies and stars, out exploring, driving in cars, I like Church on Sundays and foosball on family fun days. I live life full on, and I’m a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

To be a Mormon is to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I realized I needed to join this church when I read the first ten chapters of the Book of Mormon. Baptism led to the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Over twenty years later the Lord Jesus Christ continues to be my beacon and my guide in life. I learn of his ways through the scriptures, through church meetings, and through spiritual conversations with others. I feel him particularly close when I seek to see the good in others, when I acknowledge that good, and encourage it by supporting it. I feel him draw close to me when I do this, and I feel that I have pleased him.

How I live my faith

The more knowledge and understanding I gain, the more I realize how much there is and how little I know of it. Fortunately the Heavens are aware of our acute need for sure guides who are pure and faithful. The Heavens have refined good men and women and filled them with the capacity to act on their behalf. This privilege is given to young missionaries who administer healing beyond their years to the confused, betrayed and doubtful. I have received this healing and its Godly tokens through Baptism and the Holy Ghost. The healing promised by Jesus Christ has come into my life. It was personal between the Lord and me, as it will be between the Lord and you. He gives you a personal witness that you can trust his messengers, that they represent his Church, and that his Church represents Him. Going to Church on Sundays is essential. Here you receive the bread and water of the sacrament. Lessons are provided in Sunday School, Priesthood, Relief Society and Primary. Each week some vital principle is pinpointed. Over time you get to join a lot more dots revealing a clearer image of who you are, where you came from and why you have such great potential. Under his guidance this potential becomes a reality. His cures not only fix problems but build towards undreamt of opportunities. Start by coming to Church, embrace and live his teachings, trust he will strengthen you. Continue to draw near to him by reading the Book of Mormon. Every map has a key, so with the scriptures. The Book of Mormon is his Legend. He has given us this book for our day. It joins the dots across all of the scriptures, showing that he is Saviour unto all peoples, across all continents, across centuries of time. It tells us that he will safely gather his sheep, for his sheep hear the voice of the shepherd and in his pasture find joy.
