Hi I'm Elizabeth Smith

I'm an attorney, a mother of two, a Jane Austen Fan club member, and a news junkie. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have a law firm in Southern California, a daughter serving as a missionary in Oregon, and a son who is a hockey player. My husband and I are Anglophiles and visit England whenever we can. I like to sing and play the piano, read cookbooks, and eat out.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned, sometimes the hard way, that I can't do it all on my own. When I pray, I get comfort and answers. The Book of Mormon gives me insights and truth I get no other way.

How I live my faith

I try to teach my children to be honest, serve others, and do their best in whatever job is ahead of them--whether it's cleaning their room, taking the ACT, or playing on their sports team. I volunteer in a women's law association. I enjoy meeting with the other women in my local congregation and helping neighborhood families who may need meals or visits or yard work done. I am motivated by the example of other women who give their time and talents to raise the level of civility and culture around me.
