Hi I'm Diva

I grew up in Southern CA. I'm a student, and also work full time. Im a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Diva, and I'm 27 years old. I am currently on a waiting list for the nursing program at a local college. I also work at a nursing home here in town. My job has its challenges but I like the opportunity it gives me to help others. On my free time I like to play sports like basketball and volleyball for fun! I also like to dance.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 9 years old the missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints came to our door. They had a message they wanted to share and my mother was very receptive. I remember visiting a lot of different denominations as a young child because my mom was interested in religion and she was looking for a church to start visiting regularly. We were baptized in the mormon church short after being taught, and I grew up in a convert home. I didn't receive a testimony of my own of the truthfulness of the gospel, until I was 16 years old. I was at a young women's camp and during one of our spritual meetings I felt God testify to me and I felt in my heart that what I was doing was right, and the things I was being taught were true. It has been 11 years since that experience at camp, and my testimony continues to grow more each day. A lot of things have happened since then both good and bad and my Faith has gotten stronger as I've strived to do whats right even in hard times.

How I live my faith

I have held numerous callings in the church were I've had the opportunuty to serve others. My favorite callings have been, when I taught the young children in the branch I was attending. I taught the 10 year olds and learned so much from them and their incredible faith.
