Hi I'm April

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of two sweet little kids. My favorite thing to do is to hang out with my family. When my kids are old enough to go to school, I hope to be too. I just need to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I like hiking and nature. I am learning to like running, or at least trying to like running.

Why I am a Mormon

It seems that every day I discover a new reason to be a Mormon. Evidences of our Savior's love are all around us, if we will just be willing to see. I was born into the church and have always loved it. It wasn't until I started my own little family that Jesus Christ became the most important thing in my life. I can't bear to be separated from my family for one day and I'm so thankful that we are sealed for eternity. I know my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that I belong to Their true and living church. I'm thankful that I had the hope and the willingness to ask Him in prayer. He answered, I listened.

How I live my faith

I'm the primary president in my ward and loving it. The kids teach me so much and hopefully they're learning a little bit from me as well.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Our bodies are precious gifts from God. Because I have chosen to take care of my body and stay away from alcohol, tobacco and coffee, I have no addictions and that gives me an amazing sense of freedom. Our bodies are called temples because we can have His Spirit with us always, if we just follow Him Show more Show less
