Hi I'm Kylee

As a Registered Nurse, I love to serve and help people, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As far back as I can remember, I've wanted to be a Registered Nurse. About 8 months ago, I graduated with my nursing license and have been working at an acute hospital. In January of this year, I decided to serve a mission. I have recently been called to serve as a Mission Nurse Specialist for the Nicaragua Managua South Mission, I leave May 13th and will be serving the people and the missionaries in the Spanish language.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the word of God and the only true church upon this earth. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and I know that when I follow his teachings, and obey his commandments, my life is much better, goes smoother, and that I am much happier when I follow Him.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others. I feel that it is my calling in life. I know that our Savior taught us to help others. As a nurse I feel like it is not only my job, but my calling to help my patients feel better. I love to listen to them, and assist them with daily activities as well as administering medications and wound care. Nursing is not only a physical and mental career, but a very spiritual one as well. Every once in a while, I have to work Sundays. I live my faith by still taking the time to take the sacrament that is offered to the patients and employees of the hospital. I know that I have received blessings from doing this. I cannot wait to serve the missionaries and people of Nicaragua. I know it will be an amazing experience.
