Hi I'm Steven

I'm BYU college student. I'm a Adventure seeker and a free spirit. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm all about sports and getting outside looking for an adventure. As a military son I've traveled across the country with family, but I proudly claim "TEXAS" as my home. I'm studying at BYU to become a doctor one day to help others. I can definitely be described as a "Free Spirit" because I live life to the fullest and never look back with any regrets! I see the world for the good that is in it and I have to get involved with the game of life...

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I was young I've been taught to have faith in the Savior Jesus Christ, and to trust in him. I'm a Mormon because I believe in the Master's words to "Come and see" John 139, and to find out for myself if these things are true and from where they come from. I've read from the Book of Mormon, and I've listened to the Prophets and Apostles of this Church, and I've seen for myself through the Spirit that it is true. Their is no other answer or explanation that can be given, and I have felt the greatest peace and happiness in my own life through the teachings of the Lord's true Church. The reason I'm a Mormon is can be expressed by the Apostle Peter's words to the Savior, "Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life". John 668

How I live my faith

I've spent the past two years of my life teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ on two different continents, in North and South America. I served as a missionary in Brazil until I was transferred to serve in the Southern United States. I've preached the gospel in many different cities, and in many different languages, Spanish, Portuguese, and English, but the doctrine of Christ is the same no matter where I teach it. We are sons and daughters of the same God, and it always been my pleasure to serve the Father's children all around me!

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

None of us are required to do anything in this life, we all have the freedom to choose what to do for ourselves....That's the beauty of it all! We are given opportunities to serve, and it's our choice to decide what to do with the opportunity that is given to us. And what better opportunity to serve is there than to work as a full-time missionary in service of the Master??
