Hi I'm Tyler

I am a Swimmer, a lifeguard, a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a son of some of the best parents of the world. I have a fantastic older sister, and amazing little brother and two super step-sisters. I love to swim and I do water polo. I was a head-lifeguard and a swim instructor until I decided to come out to serve a mission. I am currently serving in the Texas Houston Mission. And afterward, I plan to go to college. I, like most people, have had challenges, but it has been through the love of our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ, that I have been able to overcome some of those challenges and have been able to become who I am today. But more than who I am now, through Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Fathers help, I can become the person that he wants me to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my testimony of this Church being Christ's Chruch restored once again on the earth. I was born into the Church, but didn't know for myself of its truthfulness until I was in 9th grade. There when I took Seminary, I gained my testimony of Joseph Smith and the First Vision. The once that became true to me, I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it, received my answer. Then I gain my testimony of Jesus Christ, which is now my foundation of my Faith.

How I live my faith

I live as Jesus Christ would have me live it. Currently I am a missionary, but before that, I was in the youth programs of the Church, which helped build my knowledge of its truthfulness. I also did many projects back at home, like offering swim lessons for free, being active in school and all of its events. Always focusing on how to bring real joy into my life where I can keep myself away from the temptations of sin and focus on how Jesus Christ would have me live.

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Mormons believe that eternal life is making it back to our presence of our God. To fully understand our views of eternal life, you really need to understand that we once lived with God before this life. Of how we lived with him and how we are his children. Then it helps us to understand how to make it back to him, and how important it is, and of how joyful that day will be when we receive eternal life. Show more Show less

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Very simple to agree but tough to explain. But yes, families can be together forever. This all is possible through our Savior Jesus Christ. It is something that the church focuses on a lot because we receive our greatest joy with our families, so it would only make sense that living with our God again will also include with our families, otherwise, can we really be happy without our families?  Show more Show less
