Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of 5 and have been married for 24 years. I enjoy outdoor activities like boating, camping, mountain bike and motorcycle riding.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but as most members will tell you, at some point you have to decide for yourself if it's what you want. I can't give you the specific time or place when I decided, I think it's a collection of feelings and events. I think for me, it's putting the teachings of the church to the test - when I live the commandments I find peace and happiness in my life. Isn't that what anybody wants?

How I live my faith

Generally I attend church every week - why? Because it renews and strengthens my spirit and desire to be a better person. I work directly with the young men called full-time missionaries, these young men have chosen to set aside their personal ambitions for two years and have answered the call from their Savior to share his teachings with others seeking the truth.

What do Mormons believe about family?

The family is the primary unit or core of the church. Every aspect of the church is intended to promote and strengthen the family. I draw great comfort from this, because my family means everything to me. There's a statement from one of the previous president's of the church that goes something like this, "no success in life will ever compensate for failure in the home". Show more Show less
