Hi I'm Rich

I grew up in Canada, have lived in Brazil and France and now live near Las Vegas.....and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to golf and wakeboard with my family. I have a beautiful wife and four awesome kids...2 boys and 2 little girls. I played professional basketball in France and now enjoy coaching varsity baskeball at our local High School.

Why I am a Mormon

As a husband and father, the very basic yet profound understanding of where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going after we die, gives me an amazing feeling of peace and security. We are never taught to blindly follow our leaders, but are encouraged to find out for ourselves the truth about every principle taught in the church. As I have done this I have gained a real understanding of the love our Heavenly Father has for each of his children here on the earth... me in particular.

How I live my faith

As a varsity basketball coach I have the opportunity to interact with young men and women almost on a daily basis. I strive to give each of them encouragement and a sense of confidence that will help them in all aspects of their lives, not just in basketball. I try to teach them accountability and what it takes to be a team. I use these same coaching techniques with the youth in our ward at church. I find great joy in seeing them show love and concern for each other, just as the Gospel teaches.
