Hi I'm Lois

I am happy to be a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

About Me

I am 78 years old and 55 years ago I married my sweetheart for ever in a Mormon temple. I taught school for 2 years while my husband finished his university training. We then moved to a small community where he worked for the same company until he retired. I enjoy sewing, reading and genealogy. I have traveled throughout the United States and some countries in Europe and Latin America. This is a beautiful world with many wonderful people, but home is still the best place to be.

Why I am a Mormon

My ancestors joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in six different countries. I have been blessed to have the influence of the Church all of my life. It brings me peace, certainty and guidance. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and the Savior of all mankind. We are all children of our Heavenly Father who loves us very much.

How I live my faith

I have taught people of all ages in Church classes. I regularly visit women in my congregation.  After my husband's retirement we spent 11 years living in Latin America serving in various leadership assignments with the Church. It was a wonderful experience to serve together.
